Sajnur Parveen, a victim of Bengali language discrimination in Delhi, arrived in Kolkata along with her husband Mukhtar Khan and their child. During a press conference held at Trinamool Bhavan, Sajnur Parveen narrated how she was assaulted by Delhi Police for speaking in Bengali and was released only after paying money. Firhad Hakim stated that people of all religions, castes, and languages live in India, and alleged that Bengalis are being targeted at the behest of the central government.
